The Office of the City Controller released a letter provided to the Philadelphia Board of Elections updating them on initial findings in its investigation into the procurement process for the City’s new voting technology. The letter, which was sent on August 13th, details ES&S’s failure to disclose its use of consultants, its lobbying activities and its consultants’ campaign contributions – an action that can render the contract voidable at the City’s option.

The Board of Elections announced earlier today that it would hold a special meeting on Thursday, August 15th at 11:00 A.M. in City Hall Room 246.
